The SHRM Hawaii Oahu Educational Foundation is kicking off Cybersecurity Awareness Month a little early.  Since 2004, the United States President and Congress declared the month of October to be Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which is a dedicated month for the public and private sectors and tribal communities to work together to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity.  Join us for an informative discussion with Hawaii’s own cybersecurity experts and advisors on:

• The more common cybersecurity breaches and why HR Departments are particularly vulnerable to them

• Preventing cyberattacks, including what a compliance plan might entail

• What to do if there is a breach

• The aftermath of a cybersecurity breach, including possible litigation by employees and third parties
